The Lexxbot HTTP poller

The 'Media Trender' project is an attempt to analyse the semantic contents in web pages. A test is being performed on public news stories that are being pulled from various web sites around the world on a daily basis. That is -- the text on the main page and the links to pages one level below. This usually amounts to around 20-40 new pages of text per site and day. Graphics and multimedia files are not pulled, so the generated traffic is quite small and restricted to a few KB/s.

The traffic originates from the domain NETIKKA.FI.

If You don't approve the pulling of news stories from Your site, please let us know and we will remove Your site from the main polling list.
